Consultancy scoops a total of three awards on the night
Global communications consultancy 90TEN was awarded the accolade of Best Agency in Continental Europe at the PRWeek Global Awards 2019 last night. The consultancy also scooped awards for Best Campaign in Continental Europe and Best Global Influencer Marketing Campaign for Gilead’s Flight HIV101.
The submission for Best Agency in Continental Europe was based on 90TEN’s consistently strong growth and achievements over the past two years, having received a total of 19 accolades from PRWeek, PM Society Digital and Communiqué over the 2017/2018 award seasons.
“The consultancy award is a tremendous honour and comes after an incredible year for 90TEN, which saw us expand our client portfolio and team, with 30 new hires,” said Paul Tanner, Chairman. “We strive to deliver work that doesn’t just change what people see, hear and read, but what they feel, think and do. This award is a testament to our passionate team who partner with our clients to deliver campaigns that truly make a difference.”
The judges described 90TEN as: “Disrupting healthcare comms with innovation, smart thinking and what looks like fun! Refreshing self-awareness”.
90TEN’s Flight HIV101 campaign, on behalf of Gilead, aimed to help gay men living with HIV discuss long-term health with their doctor. Close community collaboration meant that it was a campaign developed by gay men for gay men. It centred around a flight safety comedy short featuring HIV-positive drag queen Panti Bliss. The campaign reached 29 million people across six countries, with 22% of the target population taking steps to improve their future health.
90TEN was also a finalist in the Healthcare category for its campaign with Ferring Pharmaceuticals entitled ‘Project Family’. The campaign champions everyone’s right to have a family and tackles maternal health issues.
The PRWeek Global Awards honour the best examples of behaviour change and organisational growth across both the consumer and healthcare communications industries globally. The submissions are judged by a panel of industry experts and leaders.
