Account Director, Medical Education

The Account Director will lead the day-to-day strategy of accounts, ensuring each programme is implemented effectively, professionally, in-line with the agreed project specification, and on budget. The Account Director will develop relationships with clients in a leadership capacity and demonstrate strong competencies in strategic counsel.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate that is looking to use their courage and creativity to deliver outstanding work to not only maintain the excellent client relationships we already have, but to be able to identify organic and new business opportunities. You will be someone that can inspire both your colleagues and your clients alike. A track record of delivering high quality programmes to clients and confident in your thinking and understanding of the science behind the message.

You will drive the running of each programme, ensuring allocation of tasks between team members is sufficient, and be responsible for providing updates to the Associate Director/Director on all aspects of programme strategy and resourcing as required.

The Account Director should help drive the direction and development of 90TEN and may occasionally attend meetings of the Management Team as a contributor on specific matters. You will be seen as an ambassador for the agency.

Experience/skills required

  • At least 5 years’ experience within a medical communications agency
  • Previous Senior Account Management role
  • Powerful project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication and client influencing skills
  • Ability to multi task and perform under pressure

Assistant Account Executive, Medical Education

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi award winning agency that actively supports the start of your career in Medical communications. We are looking for a passionate and curious individual who has the understanding of the intricacies of science and the ability to use their creativity to help develop exciting and engaging messaging. We look for talented and courageous individuals, who are hungry to learn and passionate to deliver the highest quality work.

The main role of an Assistant Account Executive (AAE) is to co-ordinate logistics, liaise with suppliers and work on internal administration. An AAE needs to be organised, accurate and efficient, but most importantly, they must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and be a strong team player. The AAE must be ready to support all colleagues in any tasks that are required, as a result building and learning to maintain professional relationships is key.

AAEs need to be aware of the ABPI Code of Practice, and operate within this

Freelance Senior Account Manager – Senior Account Director, PR

(Short-term contract: April)

The successful applicant will oversee the delivery of client accounts, ensuring each programme is implemented effectively, professionally and in-line with the agreed project specification and budget. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the team deliver high quality, written work (including media materials, strategic plans, campaign toolkits etc.) and must have excellent writing skills.  A strong understanding of the UK and international media will be important. As a freelance position, there will be limited client contact however this may be expected depending on account needs.
