Healthcare public relations – Assistant Account Executive

The public relations (PR) team at 90TEN specialises in communicating healthcare stories on behalf of our clients to a wide range of audiences including the public and healthcare professionals, using channels such as the media, social media and live events or experiences. The work often involves taking a complex health story and making it accessible to wider audiences. To be successful in this role you will need to have a passion for health and communications.

Our public relations team works across UK and international clients ranging from pharmaceutical companies through to charitable organisations and clinics.

The main role of an Assistant Account Executive (AAE) is to coordinate logistics, liaise with suppliers and support the team’s essential administrative work. It is an excellent training ground for anyone considering a career in healthcare public relations. An AAE needs to be organised, accurate and efficient, but most importantly, they must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and a strong team player. The AAE must be ready to support all colleagues in any tasks that are required, so building and maintaining professional relationships is key.

Skills & Experience Required:

Excellent organisation and administration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent project and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Ability to use own initiative
Eye for detail
Experience of using social media e.g. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Medical education – Assistant Account Executive

Medical education involves developing educational content for medical audiences, such as specialists, doctors, pharmacists and nurses, on behalf of our clients. The work can range from writing promotional sales materials and manuscripts for peer review journals to organising meetings at medical conferences and training programmes for doctors. The clients can range from pharmaceutical companies to professional organisations.

90TEN has a dedicated medical education team made up of account handlers, writers and editors.

We are looking for individuals who have a passion for science and the ability to use their creativity to help develop exciting and engaging educational content.
